Pioneer CD-IU51V AV iPod/iPhone Cable for Pioneer AV and Navigation models Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)This connects to the USB/mini jack that is part of the Pioneer AVIC line of receivers. Its only use is to allow you to play an iPod through the AVIC head unit. Its about 18" long, but it doesn't need to be any longer since the USB cable provided with the AVIC line is already about 4 feet long.
Mind you, the AVIC already recognizes the iPod, but it will not play music through the USB port until you buy this device. You might even accept this deliberate limitation if this cord was $10, but for close to $50, you feel like a chump buying it.
This works very well, so I'm giving it 4 stars, taking one off for the unconscionable price.
